Role Mandate:

Reporting to the Chief Sourcing Officer, the General Manager, Non-Trade Enterprise Sourcing, will lead a team of sourcing professionals to efficiently and effectively enable business units and functional partners to achieve their strategic objectives through the sourcing process. As a member of the Sourcing Leadership Team, the General Manager of Non-Trade Enterprise Sourcing influences :$6B of annual indirect spend across a broad portfolio of goods and services within Supply Chain, Technology, Marketing, Retail Services, Store Supplies, Corporate Services, Pharmacy, Travel, Events categories as well as Global Sourcing offshore team and P&L. This leader oversees all elements of the sourcing process for non-trade including setting the strategy alongside Business Unit / Functional Leads across the enterprise, executing the sourcing process, contracting in collaboration with the legal team, and managing vendor performance. Across this process, the General Manager Non-Trade Enterprise Sourcing is responsible for ensuring compliance with the security, privacy and legal framework of the organization, in addition to ESG objectives. A key objective of the team is to enable leveraging scale to drive savings for the enterprise.

Overview of Accountabilities:

  • Develop overall 5 year and annual indirect strategic sourcing plan to support functional and enterprise strategies that drives cost savings and enterprise value
  • Develop and manage the overall indirect strategic sourcing process ensuring compliance and due diligence
  • Inspire and lead a team of :50 strategic sourcing and contracting professionals
  • Manage Global Sourcing initiatives offshore for the best suitable products while ensuring Corporate Offshore Policy
  • Stay abreast of relevant economic, industry, supply market, and business conditions to update strategy
  • Understand and maintain awareness of best practices including supporting digital procurement tools for non-trade
  • Support Business Unit Leads and their teams in managing strong supplier performance and engagement
  • Focus on both the short- and long-term to ensure the company’s financial success

Role Requirements:

  • Leadership capabilities that foster a high performing sourcing team and proven ability to drive results
  • Proven capability in relationship and stakeholder management in a matrixed organization
  • Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
  • Strong understanding of the end-to-end sourcing process with deep negotiation skills
  • Have in-depth knowledge of contracts, invoicing, and negotiation terms
  • Possess strong financial acumen

  • Demonstrated emotional maturity, self-awareness, and learning, with a strong capability in building interpersonal trust
