About the Role:

We are looking for a passionate candidate who is a great problem solver to join our IT team. This position will work from the Richmond head office, and support all GLBC locations.

Compensation

The typical hiring range for this position is $54,000-62,000/year.

Core Responsibilities

  • Provide support for incoming IT requests, analyze problems, and escalate issues when necessary
  • Troubleshoot desktop, network, and printer hardware and software issues; resolve issues to the end user's satisfaction
  • Troubleshoot LAN/WAN and connectivity issues
  • Install, configure, and test all new workstations, peripheral equipment, and software
  • New user onboarding and end user training
  • Support, monitor, test, and troubleshoot the Windows, Office 365, business applications and VOIP
  • Administer the virtual and physical infrastructure at all GLBC locations, including core network components such as server, printers, switches, firewalls, and WiFi infrastructure

Qualifications And Skills

  • 2+ years of experience in an IT role
  • Firm knowledge of PC, Win 10, and Win 11 troubleshooting and installation
  • Experience with the following technologies is a requirement:
    • Ticketing Systems
    • Microsoft Office 365
    • Active Directory
    • Windows Server Administration
    • Networking
      • TCP/IP
      • DHCP
      • DNS
  • Effective multi-tasking ability paired with a passion for the organization
  • Attentiveness to details with a strong technical aptitude and enthusiasm
  • Experience with the following technologies is an asset:
    • Hyper-V and Hyper-V Clustering
    • Microsoft Intune
    • Backup Software
    • Sophos endpoint Protection
    • PowerShell scripting
    • Azure or AWS
