Eaton’s ES AMER PCS division is currently seeking a Continuous Improvement Intern.

What You’ll Do
Reporting to the Plant Manager, this position will work across the manufacturing plant to assist with Lean initiatives related to cost savings, material stocking levels, process flow, standard work, etc. to optimize efficiency. Essential Functions:

- Assist in project to improve the material flow.
- Participate in Kaizens.
- Creating standard work to standardize processes.
- Designing/procuring jigs and equipment to aid production.
- Write, review and revise operation sheets, prepare or direct preparation of time/motion studies.
- Confer with engineering personnel on design changes.
Basic Qualifications:
- Enrolled and returning to a college or university program (Engineering, Business, or any Computer related course).
- Legally authorized to work in Canada without company sponsorship now or in the future.
- This position does not offer relocation.
- Prior internship or co-op experience.
- Intermediate/advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Power BI, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Prior internship or co-op experience.
- Strong customer service focus with a commitment to confidentiality, a high level of professionalism and time management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work safely on multiple projects.
- Good analytical/problem-solving, mathematical skills and troubleshooting ability.
- Demonstrated leadership experience within campus and/or the community.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
