WSP is currently seeking an Energy Modeler to join our Buildings Mechanical department located at our Vancouver, BC office.

What you can expect to do here:

• Deliver energy and carbon performance activities such as simulation modelling and comparative EUI/GHGI analysis for HVAC systems
• Develop familiarity with local energy/carbon codes, government policy, and utility incentive program requirements
• Develop and apply knowledge of design solutions which reduce energy consumption and thermal energy demand intensity
• Collaborate with mechanical and electrical engineers on low-carbon design solutions
  
  
  

What you’ll bring to WSP:

• Exposure to and/or experience with simulation software and/or parametric modelling
• Some knowledge of local or national building and energy codes
• Some knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, and/or ability to read drawings
• A commitment to collaboration, continuous learning, and out-of-the-box thinking.
  
  
  

Expected Salary (all locations): $61,600 to 84,700

WSP Canada is providing the compensation range that the company in good faith believes it will pay for this position based on the successful applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities in addition to the specific geographic location.
