What you can expect to do here:
- Deliver energy and carbon performance activities such as simulation modelling and comparative EUI/GHGI analysis for HVAC systems
- Develop familiarity with local energy/carbon codes, government policy, and utility incentive program requirements
- Develop and apply knowledge of design solutions which reduce energy consumption and thermal energy demand intensity
- Collaborate with mechanical and electrical engineers on low-carbon design solutions
- Exposure to and/or experience with simulation software and/or parametric modelling
- Some knowledge of local or national building and energy codes
- Some knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, and/or ability to read drawings
- A commitment to collaboration, continuous learning, and out-of-the-box thinking.
