About The Opportunity

A highly respected Canadian business law firm is seeking a talented Securities & Capital Markets Associate with 2-5 years of experience to join their corporate practice in Vancouver. This is an exciting opportunity to work on complex domestic and cross-border transactions while being part of a collaborative and high-performing team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with public and private mergers, acquisitions, and dispositions
  • Work on financing transactions, including public securities offerings
  • Advise clients on securities regulatory compliance, including:
    • Stock exchange listings
    • Corporate governance
    • Continuous disclosure obligations
    • Shareholder meetings
  • Serve clients across a broad range of industries, supporting both strategic and ongoing legal needs
Qualifications

  • 2-5 years of experience in corporate, securities, or capital markets law
  • Member in good standing with a Canadian law society (BC preferred)
  • Exceptional legal, analytical, and communication skills
  • Business-oriented and solution-focused approach
  • Strong team player with a commitment to delivering outstanding client service
