Main Tasks:
- Coordinate logistics activities, including transportation and delivery of goods, warehousing, and inventory management
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with transport companies, suppliers, and customers
- Manage all outgoing shipments, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of goods to the intended destination
- Ensure compliance with all transportation laws, regulations, and safety practices
- Monitor and manage inventory levels, in shipping ie: packaging ensuring that stock levels are sufficient to meet demand
- Ensure that all necessary documentation, such as customs declarations, bills of lading, and shipping manifests, are accurate and complete
- Assist in the negotiation of transportation rates and other logistics-related agreements
- Resolve any transportation or logistics-related issues that arise, working with internal and external stakeholders to find rapid and appropriate solutions
- Responsible for managing logistics of our DEMO fleet
- Picking and packing all outgoing orders
- Assist the Logistics Specialist and cover for vacation time
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in logistics
- Proficient knowledge of transportation laws and regulations, including those related to international shipments and customs declarations
- Familiar with shipping Ocean Freight
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage competing demands effectively
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with a wide range of people
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong work ethic and commitment to quality and excellence in all work performed
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with a wide range of people
- Strong knowledge of transportation laws and regulations, including those related to international shipments and customs declarations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Epicor experience is an asset
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong work ethic and commitment to quality and excellence in all work performed
- Successfully complete pre-employment onboarding requirements that may include criminal/civil background checks
- Applicants must be currently authorized to work in Canada for any employer
