Our Nanaimo Auto Service Centre is looking for a Regular Full-Time Lube Technician!
As a Lube Technician, you’re an important member of the Auto Service Team that diagnoses, repairs and provides service to Members’ vehicles ensuring their safety and performance meet the high standards BCAA delivers to our Members.

Our Nanaimo Auto Service Centre is looking for a Regular Full-Time Lube Technician!
As a Lube Technician, you’re an important member of the Auto Service Team that diagnoses, repairs and provides service to Members’ vehicles ensuring their safety and performance meet the high standards BCAA delivers to our Members.
Who You Are
- Highly motivated to deliver technical excellence
- You communicate effectively with your team, BCAA Members and suppliers
- You can multitask in a fast paced environment and meet tight timelines
- You’re personable and adaptable and strive to always improve your technical and communication skills
- Proven analytical, problem solving, trouble-shooting and decision making skills
- Flexible hours and weekend work are no problem for you
- High school diploma and completion of an Automotive Foundation program is preferred.
- Minimum of six months of technical training and experience within an automotive repair facility.
- Ability to lift 70 lbs (32 kg), bend, reach, walk and stand for long periods of time
- Proficient with MS Outlook
- Clean BC Driver License Class 7 or better
- Complete all repairs to meet BCAA’s high standards for safety, performance and outstanding service to our Members. Specifically, the Lube Technician will be responsible for oil and tire changes and basic automotive repairs
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment that complies with environmental standards, operational policies and procedures while ensuring equipment is in good working condition for your entire BCAA team
- Assist other Technicians in the shop as needed
- Achieve productivity goals while maintaining a high level of Member satisfaction
