Job Purpose
As Product, Manager (Marketed Products), you will be responsible for the maintenance and management of Sun Pharma Canada Inc’s. (SPCI) existing Generic, OTC and Specialty Portfolios. You will use your strong marketing and analytical background to develop marketing plans that allow our sales team to achieve sales and performance targets. You will develop and maintain a robust product database to ensure comprehensive and up to date information pertaining to our Canadian product offering. You will work with Commercial Operations to ensure external market conditions are communicated to our internal Business Partners in a timely manner. Using your strong project management skills, you will manage all post launch changes, ensuring key milestones and activities are met to ensure commercial readiness. In addition, you will work closely with the Product, Manager (Launches) to ensure a robust product life cycle process is in place for the entire portfolio.

Duties And Responsibilities
Lifecycle Management
- Manage all marketed product changes inclusive of; developing sku rationalization strategies, discontinuations, line extensions, artwork and packaging updates
- Support in budgeting, sales forecasting, product profitability analysis and reporting
- Communicate product marketing strategies that encompass provincial, regional and account strategies, SKU optimization and product sales targets
- Assist in the development of all product-related selling tools
- Review and approve all relevant existing artwork components in the artwork management system
- Work closely with supply chain and operations team to ensure timely execution of new product introductions
- Lead re-labeling efforts as it pertains to rebranding of product packaging from Taro to Sun Pharma.
- Coordinate market ready launch activities with Marketing, Customer Service and Sales
- Responsible for creating line extension projects in the corporate database, maintaining the launch project tracker including updating milestones
- Work with Product, Manager (Launches) to review and provide feedback on key launch features – trade dress, pack sizes and SKU, artwork design, brand name etc.
- Monitor external market conditions and adjust launch activity timing accordingly
- Collect and disseminate launch information for wholesaler set-up
- Ensure finished good samples are available prior to launch in order to generate marketing materials and prelaunch sales tools
- Along with Product, Manager (Launches), coordinate monthly launch forecast review meetings with Commercial Operations and communicate any changes to internal stakeholders. Transition product launch forecast to regular demand with Supply Chain.
- Deliver training for all new product launches to internal commercial team, as required.
- Develop and manage a comprehensive product database to be used by marketing, sales, business intelligence and customer service
- Ensure accurate information is updated on a regular basis including product specifications, market size, sku offerings, formulary status and competitive information
- Update National Price List and SAP for all price changes
- Responsible for maintaining the Direct Order Form (product launches, product discontinuations, price changes) and communicating the respective changes to the Retail Sales Team
- Support Corporate Sales Team on RFPs by providing product trade dress and SKU information
- Communicate all product related updates to the Sales Force – new product launch, product discontinuation, product trade dress change, back order reports etc.

Qualifications
- Minimum of a University degree, preferably in a Commerce or related stream.
- Three (3) to five (5) years of experience in a Marketing, or Commercial Operations
- Software: SAP, Advanced Microsoft Excel + Office Suite.
- Experience working in the generic pharmaceutical industry or a similar commodity-driven healthcare industry.
- Experience in Product Management, preferably in the Generic Industry
- Experience working with IQVIA data, advanced Excel skills a must
- Exposure and experience working with multiple internal stakeholders such as supply chain, finance, sales and marketing.
- Strong communication skills, both oral and written
- Demonstrated ability to work under pressure; strong ability to navigate conflicting priorities between stakeholders
- Strong interpersonal skills, experience working in a highly dynamic team environment
- Ability to make a decision based on qualitative and quantitative data
- Exhibits creativity in problem solving
- Ability to understand competitive activity and use it to build market opportunities
