Manager, Project Finance and Corporate Development

Key Functions Include
- Lead all aspects of project financings from initial structuring through to post-closing activities for one or more ongoing project or hybrid financings, including construction financing, tax equity, back leveraged, and hybrid/holdco financings (includes financings in both Canada and the USA)
- Work alongside the Vice President, Finance to structure financings for the development asset portfolio
- Play a key role in corporate development initiatives for Canadian development portfolio (including economic analysis, RFP responses, offtake agreement structuring, managing partnerships and pricing, etc.)
- Lead special projects such as M&A activities, asset recycling/sell-downs, etc.
- Build and maintain relationships with a number of key third parties, including lenders, lawyers, independent engineers, and advisors
- Upholds all aspects of BluEarth’s Environmental, Health, & Safety policies, practices, and programs; and
- Uphold the company’s core values.
- University degree, preferably in Management, Business, or Finance, but consideration will be given to those that possess tangible and proven experience and skills; and
- Credentials such as CA, CPA, CFA, or MBA are required.
- Minimum 7 years’ experience in finance, corporate development, banking, or relevant field.

- Able to commit to a flexible work schedule that often involves time outside of typical business hours; and
- Ability to travel within Canada and the United States.
