Desired Qualifications
- Valid Red Seal or equivalent certification.
- 3+ years' experience in electrical industry.
- STCW Course
- Experience in a marine electrical field would be an asset.
- Ability to read/interpret drawings, schematics, blueprints, manuals.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proven track record of safe operations.
- Strong verbal and written communications skills.
- Experience with passenger services would be an asset.
- Canadian citizen or permanent residence status for positions in Canada.
- Experience in electrical systemtroubleshooting, such as generators, generator controls, motor controls, firealarm system, engine alarm systems, and PLC controls.
- Identify, analyzing, troubleshooting,and assisting with repairs of equipment & electrical faults.
- Have to ability to work as part of ateam or with minimal supervision to execute required tasks.
