This is an exciting opportunity to collaborate with experienced marketers and communicators and gain hands-on experience in various areas within a marketing and corporate communications environment. As our Marketing Intern, you will be exposed to teams across Industry Marketing and Corporate Communications during a time of strategic transformation.
In this role, you will provide critical operational support that enables both teams to transition successfully. You’ll gain experience with marketing operations, new technologies, and cross-functional collaboration while contributing to lasting improvements in workflows, systems, and internal processes. This internship will directly support the team’s capacity to adopt new tools, optimize performance, and allow senior talent to remain focused on strategic execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Audit and reorganize digital assets and resources;
- Implement a structured file-management system across content, graphics, and marketing assets;
- Serve as a liaison between teams during transformation initiatives;
- Support the documentation of new processes and workflows for team training;
- Track milestones and facilitate communication for in-flight transformation projects;
- Help organize and maintain the team’s events calendar and marketing asset requirements;
- Assist in the coordination of cross-functional projects, ensuring attention to detail and timely delivery;
- Coordinate scheduling, meeting logistics, and marketing deliverables tracking;
- Support reporting activities, including light research and documentation;
- Transcribe and share meeting summaries and action items;
- Perform a range of special projects, tasks, and other related duties as assigned.
- Current college or university student with focus in Marketing, Communications, or a related discipline, or recent graduate;
- 1 year of administrative or operational experience (internships, part-time, or volunteer work) is an asset;
- Strong proficiency with MS Office tools (experience with SharePoint and Excel);
- Adobe Suite of products (nice to have);
- Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines;
- Graphic design skills (nice to have in Adobe Suite and/or Canva);
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written;
- Strong collaboration skills, with the ability to work across the Industry Marketing & Corporate Communication teams;
- Project management skills tracking deadlines and ensuring tasks are completed on time;
- Attention to detail and accuracy, ensuring high quality and thorough completion of tasks;
- A desire to learn, adapt to new tools, and contribute in a fast-paced, evolving environment;
- Ability to take initiative, work independently, and demonstrate good judgment.
