Position Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Operations Manager entrusted with leading a team of Operations Advisors and Specialists to ensure smooth shipping and receiving of merchandise, e-commerce fulfillment, maintaining stockrooms for efficient inventory and accessibility that contributes to a seamless customer experience.
The successful candidate will have solid inventory management and organizational skills and play a critical role in streamlining processes and maintaining inventory accuracy, creating a streamlined customer experience, and ensuring overall team success.
Reporting to the General Manager, the Operations Manager will manage a team of dedicated employees.

Responsibilities
- Leadership & Team Management
- Supervise warehouse associates and stockroom staff, providing guidance, support, and performance feedback to promote a culture of accountability, empathy, and self-awareness.
- Develop and execute efficient workflows, training employees in best practices for inventory and logistics management.
- Foster collaboration and a positive work environment between retail sales teams and backroom operations to optimize product availability.
- Shipping, Receiving & Logistics Management
- Manage all shipping activities, including receiving, verifying, and processing incoming and outgoing merchandise.
- Oversee all incoming shipments, ensure accurate documentation and timely execution of shipments, adhering to safety guidelines and regulatory requirements.
- Manage relationships with suppliers and logistics partners to optimize shipping processes, improve delivery timelines and reduce costs.
- Monitor and track shipments, maintaining clear communication with internal stakeholders and customers regarding order status.
- Implement efficient receiving and distribution processes to ensure stock is available on the sales floor in a timely manner.
- Handle returns, damaged goods, and stock transfers in compliance with store policies.
- Inventory & Stock control
- Oversee stock replenishment (products, tools, and hygiene), inventory control, cleanliness/organization, and product allocation to ensure adequate stock levels and visual presentation at all times.
- Conduct regular stock audits and cycle counts to maintain accurate inventory records and minimize discrepancies.
- Utilize inventory management systems to track stock movements and improve accuracy.
- Process Improvement & Reporting
- Provide feedback on operational processes, collaborating with business partners, and driving continuous improvements in execution to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to shipping and stock management, analyzing data and implementing corrective actions as necessary.
- Streamline workflows and improve space utilization.
- Analyze sales trends and inventory data to improve efficiency and reduce shrinkage.
- Generate regular reports on stock levels, fulfillment rates, and operational efficiency.
- Work closely with store leadership to align backroom operations with overall business goals.
- Warehouse & Backroom Operations
- Ensure the store’s warehouse/backroom is well-organized, clean, and operating efficiently.
- Implement best practices for stock storage, labeling, and retrieval to improve workflow.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and store operational guidelines.
- Maintain all the warehouse equipment and ensure staff are trained in proper usage.
- Highschool diploma or equivalent.
- 5+ years of experience within operations management, logistics, or a related field.
- Solid leadership skills with experience managing a team.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities, with the capacity to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Solid understanding of inventory management principles, stock control, and shipping/receiving processes.
- Proficient in using inventory management software and MS Office Suite, as well as other technologies.
- Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of liaising with cross-functional teams and external partners.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
- Have a degree or certification in operations management, logistics, or a related field.
- Have experience with e-commerce platforms and order management systems.
- Are bilingual in French and in English.
- Have in-depth knowledge of the luxury beauty market, including emerging trends and customer preferences.
- Are self-care and wellness ambassador.
