How You'll Perform The Role

  • Perform PM tasks according to the schedule
  • Cut the cores according to the Extrusion/Slitting Schedule
  • Operate the core cutter machine safely and efficiently
  • Sort the recyclable cores and store them according to sizes
  • Perform checks on the handling system(calibration), forklifts, and cranes
  • Load the un-wind station with master rolls and remove the empty cores
  • Assist in operation of the roll manipulator
  • Assist in setting up the knives and arms of the slitter
  • Operate the Up-ender
  • Monitor the quality of the rolls and inform the lead slitter operator about deficiencies
  • Generate and apply appropriate labels on rolls, skids
  • Cut/slit any out-of-spec rolls
  • Assist with emergency conditions on the Extrusion Line(s) such as web breaks and starting the line as directed by the Shift Supervisor
  • Remove waste material from line when required
  • Diligently follow lockout / tag out procedures whenever required
  • Maintain all work areas free from obstructions and hazards
  • Maintain proper housekeeping and 5S in own work area and around work units
  • Perform all work in a safe manner and fully comply with the Safety and Quality (GMP) policies and procedures of the Company
  • Any other duties as assigned by the Management


What We Need From You

  • Minimum high school diploma
  • 1 year of work experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred
  • Should have mechanical aptitude
  • Able to use measuring tape
  • Able to lift and move product / parts / boxes when required
  • Work well under pressure
  • Good team player
  • Good communication skills in English (verbal and written)
  • Forklift and crane training will be provided
