We’re looking for a passionate, energetic Application Specialist who can effectively provide expert-level technical support to owners, contractors, technicians and internal customers on the technical application of our products and solutions.

We’re looking for a passionate, energetic Application Specialist who can effectively provide expert-level technical support to owners, contractors, technicians and internal customers on the technical application of our products and solutions.
The Successful Candidate's Responsibilities Will Include
- Provide timely technical support to internal and external customers over the phone, through email, or in person, as required.
- Assist customers with product selection to achieve design goals of project.
- Have knowledge of current industry standards and common practices.
- Generate performance data for standard products and estimate performance for non-standard products.
- Review specifications for project compliance and provide recommendations for alternates when specification cannot be achieved.
- Support quoting of non-standard products and provide guidance on selecting the most cost-effective products to achieve project requirements.
- Provide troubleshooting support to resolve jobsite issues over the phone, through email, or by visiting the jobsite, when required.
- Communicate customer feedback to the Product Team to guide product development initiatives
- Support the Quality Assurance team by reviewing quality concerns and assisting with the process of determining what is acceptable and suitable corrective action.
- Work with Marketing group to develop and maintain product literature, both printed and electronic information.
- Work with Software group to support the development and maintenance of all Price software and electronic resources.
- Support company training initiatives by creating and presenting training material at online and in person events.
- Participate, as required, in company events to support the promotion of the company, products and industry initiatives at Price facilities or in the field.
- Any other duties as required to support the company and the products.
- A College Diploma or University Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Computer Engineering or equivalent
- Strong interpersonal, communication, organization skills, with an eye for detail.
- Innovative, self-motivated and demonstrates the ability to take initiative.
- Aptitude and desire for customer service excellence.
- Ability to work both independently and in a team environment to meet timeline-dependent deliverables.
- A basic understanding of HVAC, controls and mechanical systems would be an asset.
- Aptitude with hand tools would be considered an asset.
