Production Associate

As the industry-leading manufacturer and distributor of abrasive blasting equipment and supplies, our Leduc Production team is critical to our overall business strategy, fueling Allredi's growth across North America. We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Production Associate to join our team. This full-time position will be reporting to the Production Manager. The Production Associate is responsible for operating various machines and equipment for production, packaging, and material handling of abrasive material. Work is day-shift with some evenings and weekends required to meet business goals. Comprehensive, generous benefits provided along with 3 weeks of paid-time-off annually! This is a replacement role.

Responsibilities

• Operate bagging machines to fill various sized bags of abrasives
• Lifting bagged product up to 55lbs on a regular basis
• Unload and fill product silos
• Basic machine troubleshooting
• Wrap final skids and ensure properly labeled
• Operate forklift to move various product throughout facility
• Complete material tracking, and final product paperwork
• Maintain clean and safe working areas
• Adhere to all Company policies and procedures
• Comply with all Health & Safety related policies, procedures, and safe work practices
• Other duties as assigned
  
  
  

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 2 years of Forklift experience
• High attention to detail
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent problem-solving skills
