Who are we?
Svante is a rapidly growing clean energy technology company making commercial-scale carbon capture and removal a reality and enabling global industries to play offense in the fight against climate change that will accelerate the global transition to a lower-carbon economy.
The growing success of our company is owed to our commitment to our people, our emphasis on our values, and our innovative technology. Passion is put into what we do every day.
Purpose of the Role:
As Project Director, you will lead the development of carbon capture projects, managing commercial relationships with partners, offtakers, and financiers. You’ll apply your technical and financial expertise to guide projects through design, permitting, and operating planning, ultimately driving them to Final Investment Decision (FID) and construction.
In your role as Head of Carbon Markets, you will build and lead Svante’s carbon credit strategy—developing programs for credit creation, registration, verification, and monetization. You’ll work with external advisors and regulatory bodies to establish robust MRV systems and stay ahead of evolving carbon markets in North America, the EU, and beyond. You’ll also support the monetization of key tax credits like the U.S. 45Q and Canada’s CCUS ITC.
