Proposal Specialist

We are looking for a highly motivated professional with business and/or marketing experience to join our business development team in shaping customer perceptions through compelling writing. Team members make an impact by contributing to efforts to win contracts and communicate thought leadership in our growing business and industry.

As a Proposal Specialist, you will develop written content on various topics across our business—including instant tickets, digital products, and retail merchandising—in formats such as proposals, press releases, and trade articles. This role requires curiosity and a willingness to engage with subject matter experts to deepen your understanding, allowing you to craft clear, persuasive, and marketing-driven content.

What You'll Do

• Create clear and persuasive written content for RFP/RFI responses, press releases, and trade publication articles, delivering high-quality work on time.
• Following established processes and directions, develop written responses to assigned RFP/RFI sections, addressing project-specific nuances and ensuring a compliant response.
• Perform thorough self-reviews of written content for accuracy, clarity, flow, and alignment with project goals.
• Ensure that all content for assigned sections is formatted and submitted in accordance with RFP/RFI guidelines and internal templates, instructions, etc.
• Effectively manage small- and medium-sized projects by facilitating meetings, coordinating resources and logistics, managing timelines, and communicating with various stakeholders.
• Communicate and collaborate effectively with various stakeholders across the organization, including team members, subject matter experts, and leadership, in order to successfully execute on writing responsibilities

What You'll Bring

• Minimum of 3 years of professional work experience.
• Strong writing skills, including experience with long-form writing projects.
• A proven ability to lead and manage projects involving multiple stakeholders.
• Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to navigate project ambiguity and complexity.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word; experience with PowerPoint and SharePoint is considered an asset.
