Purchasing Agent will report to Purchasing Manager and will support and execute the day-to-day purchasing of direct materials and direct production materials required for their designated factory.

Purchasing Agent will report to Purchasing Manager and will support and execute the day-to-day purchasing of direct materials and direct production materials required for their designated factory.
What you will be doing :
- Manage inventory levels of assigned materials and ensure MRP planning parameters are accurately maintained.
- Support supplier performance measurement while maintaining and developing supplier relationships at all levels.
- Investigate and resolve supply issues using tactical and strategic approaches, expediting urgent needs and implementing contingency plans.
- Process purchasing documentation and maintain a clean, organized ERP system while monitoring order and transport status.
- 3-5 years’ Industrial purchasing experience.
- Post-secondary education.
- Computer literate (MS Office, Word, Excel, PP). Advanced excel skills.
- Hands-on experience with SAP or any ERP system for material purchases and reporting.
- Good communication skills and good problem-solving skills.
- Strong planning and organizing skills and knowledge of purchasing principles.
