Must Have Skills
- Strong core Python skills with a focus on writing abstract, efficient, and testable code
- Experience with data libraries such as Pandas, PyArrow, or NumPy
- Proven experience deploying applications in cloud-native environments (e.g., Cloud Run, GKE)
- Familiarity with DevOps best practices: CI/CD, Docker, Git workflows, automation
- Understanding of REST APIs, job schedulers, and event-driven systems
- Ability to build scalable logic that interfaces with GCP services
- Passion for data at scale, with attention to performance and cost efficiency
- Experience with GCP services like Cloud Functions, Cloud Run, etc.
- Exposure to Rust and understanding of when to use it for performance-critical tasks
- Background in observability, testing, and maintaining high code quality standards
- Prior contributions to internal tooling or architectural design
- Build clean, modular, and reusable Python applications for data extraction, transformation, and processing
- Design and deploy serverless workloads using Cloud Run, Cloud Functions, and other GCP services
- Collaborate cross-functionally to build resilient pipelines and APIs
- Maintain observability, logging, and testing practices for high code quality
- Contribute to architectural decisions and internal tooling
- Continuously optimize performance and cost-efficiency across the stack
