Carecor is offering Registered Nurses an exciting travel nursing assignments in hospitals Serving Charlottetown Prince Edward Island. We’re ready when you are!
This opportunity offers contract options of up to 6 months. You choose what works for you!
Under the direction of the facility charge nurse, you will provide care according to the College of Registered Nurses of Prince Edward Island, the Standards of Practice of Carecor, and the healthcare facility where assigned, helping foster an environment of optimal physical, social, and emotional well-being for patients. For each assignment, you will be in one facility for a full 8-12-hour shift. Prior to joining the PEI team, we will provide you with information regarding travel allowance and PEI nursing license reimbursement.

- Applicants require a Registered Nurse (RN) practicing license that is current, active, and in good standing with their respective provincial College.
- Transfer of active practicing license will be required with the College of Registered Nurses of Prince Edward Island (CRNPEI)
- Required: Minimum of 6 months of experience working in acute care environments, in medicine/surgical floors.
- Proof of current immunization for measles, mumps, rubella and varicella (MMRV), tetanus, diphtheria, pertussis, and hepatitis B
- Proof of negative TB skin test within the past one (1) year or negative chest x-ray within the past five (5) years
- Current BCLS-HCP (HealthCare Provider) and Current N95 Mask Fit Test Certificate
- Willing to undergo Vulnerable Sector Police Check as a condition of hire
- Flexible to work occasional shifts that are considered urgent/last-minute minute/early morning
