JOB SUMMARY:

To assist the Physiotherapist and Occupational Therapist in implementing the Rehabilitation program for residents of the Home.

The position will promote the Mission of the Sisters Servants of Mary Immaculate by supporting the care values regarding the provision of quality care, loving environment, Christian ideals and principles, respect for life and dignity of person, and preservation of our traditional ethnic customs.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• MITT/CDI Rehab Assistant Certificate or any other recognized educational institution.
• Previous training and experience in Rehabilitation and/or Nursing preferred.
• Ability to speak Ukrainian or Polish an asset.
• Computer skills an asset.
• Good mental and physical health, and good attendance to meet the requirements of the position.
  
  
  

This position requires a current satisfactory Criminal Records Check (including Vulnerable Sector Search), Child Abuse Registry Check and Adult Abuse Registry Check as conditions of employment. The successful candidate will be responsible for any service charges incurred. A security check is considered current if it was obtained no more than six (6) months prior to the start of employment.
