About The Job

As Sales Strategy Manager - Yogurt Category , you will be accountable for

Actively contributes to the development and implementation of the core commercial strategy (4Ps) for the category. These strategies aim to drive sustainable and profitable growth within Danone Canada's business unit, in close collaboration with customers. You will play a key role in bridging the sales and brand marketing teams, providing relevant business insights for a given category, and supporting the development of effective customer plans. You will also oversee go-to-market processes, ensuring that the voice of sales and customers is reflected in key initiatives (customer business planning/JBP, new product launches, supply chain allocations, trade spend forecasting, etc.).

More specifically

  • Analyze key data to help the sales strategy team better understand the category and its challenges.
  • Influence commercial levers (pricing, promotions, assortment) to achieve key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Develop and recommend tools and approaches to enhance business performance, in collaboration with category management, key customers, marketing, and the sales force.
  • Contribute to the development of Danone Canada's commercial strategy, aligned with the 4Ps and brand priorities.
  • Actively participate in weekly meetings with customer and marketing teams to understand field challenges and define actionable solutions.
  • Monitor and analyze performance indicators related to the sales strategy.
  • Lead special projects aligned with the company’s strategic priorities.

About You

The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications and competencies

  • Bachelor and/or master’s degree in administration, or related field
  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in account management, commercialization strategy, brand and category management experience in the consumer goods industry
  • Sense of urgency React quickly and efficiently to urgent situations
  • Priority management Prioritize tasks and projects based on their importance and impact
  • Solution oriented Find effective solutions to encountered problems
  • Resourcefulness and can-do attitude to accomplish tasks in challenging situations
