Responsibilities & Duties

  • Performs qualitative and quantitative chemical analysis for product release and stability samples, on raw material and on packaging components and purified water samples.
  • Participates in tech transfers;
  • Writes documents associated to lab activities as per GMP practices and company SOPs;
  • Data reviewing if needed;
  • Participates in the investigation process (OOS, DEV, etc…);
  • Respects Good Manufacturing Practices for chemical labs;
  • Reviews procedures (if required) linked to laboratory work.
  • Performs any other tasks that may be requested by the QC Supervisor.

Skills, Knowledge & Abilities

  • Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices
  • Technical knowledge of instrumental testing such as high-performance liquid chromatography, dissolution and gas chromatography.
  • Any experience in other types of analytical techniques would be an asset.
  • Aptitude for teamwork.
  • Practical knowledge of computers and laboratory data analysis programs.
  • Work experience in the pharmaceutical industry
