Senior Backend Developer

ELITS is now looking for a Backend Developer for our operations in Montreal.

About this position:

As a Backend Developer, you will be part of our team and your main responsibilities are:

• Design and develop backend microservices to be deployed in a Kubernetes cluster
• Deliver product on time
• Develop features using the latest techniques, architecture, and open-source solutions
• Make sure your code is scaleable, resilient, and has security features
• Interact with Frontend team to create the UI with backend support
• Develop automated unit test and node-level feature test
• Document your feature
  
  

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree or higher in Computer Science or equivalent
• 7+ years of software development experience
• Experience with backend development in a Linux environment
• Experience with web-based and mobile applications
• Experience with Java, JavaScript, and Spring Boot
• Experience developing microservices in Kubernetes
• Previous cloud experience Azure etc is preferred
• Experience with Jira, GitLab and Agile
• Experience with Python and Golang preferred
• Experience with ELK, Data analytics and monitoring preferred
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL preferred
• Experience with IP Security, SSL, HTTP, HTTPS, and Certificates preferred
• Experience with code reviews
