Profile
As a Senior Business Analyst, you will be a leader amongst our Analyst teams and develop the framework and data architecture to support their activities as well as to enable advanced reporting and modelling techniques to improve the overall capabilities and efficiency of Business Intelligence teams. You will also work in support of new and challenging projects to provide information solutions and guidance that will enable their efficient and timely success.
The scope of work includes developing database SQL Views, data warehousing, developing complex models using a combination of database management techniques and Microsoft Excel, developing processes, tools, and systems to enable the efficient and scalable management of BI reporting by other Analysts and the activities of the Master Schedulers, and offering tutelage and guidance on ERP/Database issues.
A successful Senior Business Analyst has strong leadership skills, and are motivated self-learners with a mind for identifying and actioning opportunities for improvement. They care about excellence in their job and are passionate about team and company success. They have an excellent analytical mind and have the social and communication skills to confidently lead meetings with multidisciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop expertise in Front End use of ERP software and the ERP database structure.
- Design, develop, maintain, and improve scalable data architecture of the company; particularly for use by Analysts to develop BI dashboards, reports, and presentations.
- Advanced data mining and data uploading from/to the ERP database.
- Develop complex models and tools (PowerQuery, Excel, SAP Crystal Reports, SQL Views, etc.) that extract, visualize, and/or load information to/from databases to improve efficiency and efficacy of other employees and groups.
- Support and provide guidance and recommendations in the evaluation and implementation of programs, projects, and processes that relate to ERP usage.
- Support MPC Manager, Master Production Schedulers, and others by providing data models and visualizations for presentations.
- Stand-in on behalf of the MPC Manager for projects, presentations, and delegated decision making.
- Self-teaching and strong desire to learn.
- Motivated to improve methods and practices for managing and communicating company data with consideration for big-picture use and information relationships.
- Strong SQL coding knowledge and understanding of ERP systems (Visual ERP preferred) and relational databases.
- Experience using BI reporting tools (SAP Crystal Reports, Microsoft PowerBI, etc.).
- B.A./B.S. in a related field (data science, engineering, data analysis, statistics, etc) is highly desirable.
- 7+ years of related experience in data analysis, database administration, ERP management, or similar in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills and advanced Microsoft Excel skills (with knowledge of Power Query and database interfacing)
- Excellent analytical skills with a proven ability to create integrated business models that facilitate decision making and/or business metric & KPI visualization.
