Role description:

Arcadis’ Ottawa office is searching for a Sr Civil Project Engineer to join its growing team. This person will lead and support various members of the team to deliver solutions in Land Development projects, assist in Business development and management of the Land development team.

This role sits within our global business area Places. Role accountabilities:

  • Manage land development projects (small to large scale), including mixed-use and commercial development projects
  • Provide strategic direction and management to project teams, identifying key technical issues/questions at the beginning of projects
  • Ensure engineering designs are in compliance with current applicable regulations
  • Engage in business development, identify and pursue business development opportunities

Qualifications & Experience:

  • University degree in Civil Engineering program or recognized equivalent
  • 10+ years of relevant experience in Land Development or Municipal engineering
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Strong work ethic and ability to multi-task, prioritize, and take direction

The salary range for this position is $95,000 - $160,000. The base salary represents Arcadis’ hiring range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as location, skills, experience, and qualification for the role.
