Senior Quality Assurance Analyst

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to understand software requirements and specifications.
• Develop comprehensive test plans and test cases based on functional and technical requirements.
• Execute manual and automated tests to validate software functionality, performance, usability, and security.
• Identify, document, and track software defects and anomalies, and work closely with developers to ensure timely resolution.
• Perform regression testing to ensure that defects are fixed and new features are integrated seamlessly.
• Participate in design and code reviews to provide input from a quality perspective.
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of automated test scripts to enhance testing efficiency and coverage.
• Conduct exploratory testing to uncover potential issues that might not be covered by existing test cases.
• Continuously improve QA processes, methodologies, and documentation standards.
• Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies related to software testing and quality assurance.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Proven experience in software quality assurance, including manual and automated testing.
• Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies.
• Familiarity with test management tools and issue tracking systems.
• Proficiency in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
• Experience with automated testing frameworks and tools is a plus.
• Solid analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and requirements.
• Strong self-motivation and a proactive approach to tasks and challenges.
• More than 5 years of relevant experience .
  
  

Preferred Skills

• Bilingual in French and English.
• Familiarity with programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, C#) and scripting for test automation.
• Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes.
• Knowledge of web technologies, APIs, databases, and mobile application testing like Selenium.
• ISTQB or other relevant testing certifications.
• Hybride mode in Montreal.
