The Service Center Coordinator at Husqvarna Construction in Calgary, AB helps the Service Center Manager with administrative and warehouse tasks needed to support equipment repairs for both our external and internal customers. This role ensures our customers get the highest level of customer service and helps the company maintain its competitive advantage.

The Coordinator’s responsibilities can vary based on the needs and staffing of the service center, but the main focus is keeping everything organized so repairs can flow efficiently.

SHIFT: Monday - Friday, 7:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. with occasional overtime

Responsibilities

Warehouse

  • Assist with documentation for receipt of equipment in the service center
  • Assist with regular maintenance of the service center to provide a clean, orderly, and safe work environment
  • Handle shipping & receiving with freight and small package carriers
  • Organize and clean warehouse as needed
  • Inventory duties to include cycle counting, stocking inventory, and pulling, packing and shipping orders
  • Responsible for assisting with the unloading and moving of equipment to and from the customer or other service centers


Administrative Support

  • Responsible for determining inventory needs and processing replenishment orders for each service center
  • Answer and respond to customer and sales phone calls regarding repair status and service of equipment as needed
  • Handle in-person and phone inquiries from customers, customer service, and the sales team as needed
  • Processes credit card orders for customers as needed
  • Processes quotes for repairs, provides quote to customer, and follows up on approvals and escalates to sales team as needed
  • Responsible for processing sales orders for repairs and parts orders
  • Processes invoices for internal and external repair work and part orders
  • Process adjustments to correct inventory and other transactions
  • Enters purchase orders for the service center


THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

  • Maintains high level of attention to detail.
  • Is able to multitask and handle multiple projects without losing focus.
  • Can solve new or unfamiliar problems and trouble-shoot problems independently within requirements of position


Critical Functional Skills & Knowledge

  • Working knowledge of SAP/ERP systems (AS400/PRMS preferred)
  • Working knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, and Outlook)
  • Ability to obtain forklift certification


Education & Experience

  • At least 3 years’ previous experience working within a customer service role and previous experience with inventory
  • High school degree or equivalent required


WORKING CONDITIONS

  • Working majority of time in service center environment, both office and warehouse
  • Can be required to lift heavy items either assisted or unassisted
  • Infrequent overnight travel required for on-going training
