You will be the face of our company in the community and a trusted advisor in our customers' homes. With your exceptional customer service and expert recommendations, you will help our customers fully experience the benefits of our growing suite of products and services. You’ll share our passion for leveraging our superior networks and the strength of our team to deliver unmatched value and innovative solutions to our customers' homes, all while growing our business and customer satisfaction.

Here’s how:

As a Service Professional, you'll be the face and voice of TELUS for our customers. You'll meet with them in their homes, installing, maintaining, and supporting a range of services, including security, internet, home automation, TV, and home phone. But that's not all - You will set your customers up with services, provide on-site support and drive future growth for TELUS by highlighting sales opportunities designed to help our customers get the most out of their TELUS experience. With your exceptional customer service skills, you'll educate our customers face-to-face on both new and existing products in their homes, all while increasing our sales and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

You're our missing piece of the puzzle!


  • You are passionate about providing exceptional customer experiences, and thrive in overcoming objections and handling both favourable and unfavourable customer interactions.
  • You are driven by solutions-based selling, and enjoy recommending products and services that will make your customers' lives easier.
  • You have a natural technical aptitude, a passion for technology and proficient knowledge of common consumer electronic devices
  • You thrive in a collaborative team environment, but can also work independently with minimal supervision.
  • You have strong problem-solving and analytical skills, and can maintain a high level of performance while working under time constraints
  • You have a normal colour vision which is required to work with colour-coded wiring
  • You’re able to balance a physically demanding workload, which includes standing, lifting, climbing ladders, bending, crawling in confined spaces and working in a variety of indoor/outdoor environments
  • You are flexible and able to work various shifts: days, evenings, weekends, statutory holidays, to meet business needs and customer availability, with the possibility of working out of town assignments
  • You’re fluent in English with a clear and genuine communication style, additional languages are considered beneficial
  • Your written and oral communication skills are professional
  • You enjoy continuous learning and have the ability to learn formally and informally in a dynamic environment
  • Can meet applicable testing requirements


Requirements:


  • Past customer service and sales experience
  • Clean and valid full Class 5 Driver's License or other provincial equivalents, a driver’s abstract will be needed
  • Completed a minimum of Grade 11 Math, we'll need your transcripts and/or diplomas


Great to have:


  • Any previous experience and/or education in telecommunications or security would be an asset
