About The Role
We are seeking an experienced Site Superintendent to lead institutional, commercial, and industrial (ICI) construction projects, including community centers, libraries, and long-term care facilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of managing projects from groundbreaking to completion, ensuring quality, safety, and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all on-site operations, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
- Manage and coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and site staff to ensure smooth workflow.
- Monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with blueprints, specifications, and safety standards.
- Conduct site meetings and provide regular updates to Project Managers and stakeholders.
- Proactively identify and resolve challenges to prevent delays or cost overruns.
- Maintain a strong focus on safety and quality assurance throughout all phases of the project.
- 5+ years of experience in ICI construction, with proven expertise in managing projects valued between $5M and $30M.
- Pre-Engineering experience highly considered an asset.
- In-depth knowledge of Ontario Building Code, safety regulations, and construction best practices.
- Exceptional leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple moving parts efficiently
