Job Description

We are looking for a Senior Java Developer who is proficient in Java/Spring Integration/Spring Boot/Unix/React and is passionate about building efficient, high performing software in strategic for TD Securities business areas such as Foreign Exchange and Commodities trading. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design and technical implementation of interfaces from and to Murex engine, creating innovative solutions to simplify data flows, make improvements in performance in multiple key areas.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing an efficient development processes, finding gaps in integration and deployment procedures and oversee and review the application implementation.

Responsibilities

Job Requirements

• Design and develop efficient upstream and downstream interfaces to and from Murex system.
• Write efficient code that is maintainable and extensible.
• Build reusable code and libraries for future use.
• Optimize an existing and create new interfaces for maximize speed and scalability.
• Monitor and solve performance issues.
• Collaborate with business users and the development team in an Agile environment.
• Oversee and manage multiple strategic initiatives in a group.
  
  

Skills And Qualifications

• 5+ years of Extensive experience in Core Java, Spring Integration, Spring boot, etc.
• 5+ years of Extensive experience in Unix shell scripting
• 5+ years JavaScript and node.js experience.
• 3+years in AngularJS
• Knowledge in React an asset.
• Extensive experience with JIRA, Confluence, Nexus, Jenkins, Maven
• Good understanding of version control and source code management using Git.
