SENIOR SYSTEMS DESIGN ENGINEER



THE ROLE:

Are you passionate about driving efficiency through AI and turning innovative ideas into real-world solutions? We are seeking a Systems Design Engineer with a focus on AI and software development. We're looking for someone who thrives in a hands-on, practical environment. Our team operates with a startup mindset, dedicated to solving real problems and delivering high ROI for a suite of dynamic products that leverage cutting-edge AI technology.



KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Software Development & Productization: Collaborate in the full software development lifecycle, from ideation to product deployment. Our focus is on creating robust, scalable AI solutions that enhance efficiency across AMD with a focus on CGC (Client, Graphics, and S3)
  • Collaboration & Teamwork: Work closely with different teams, including data scientists, various eningeers, and product managers to translate business unit and engineering needs into technical solutions.
  • Problem Solving & Communication: Methodically deconstruct complex problems, documenting each step of the development process. Your ability to create clear, concise documentation, presentations, and communicate technical topics will be important in this role.
  • Innovation & Agility: Embrace a startup-like approach as you develop and deploy new products. You'll be encouraged to innovate and experiment, with the flexibility to adapt quickly to new challenges and opportunities.




PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Proven experience in software development, particularly in productizing AI solutions.
  • Proficiency in Python and commonly-used libraries in the ecosystem
  • Experience in developing and deploying machine learning models at scale.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment, with excellent communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a methodical approach to documentation.
  • A passion for innovation and a drive to continuously improve product efficiency through AI.
  • Experience with common lab equipment, including protocol/logic analyzers, oscilloscopes, etc. a plus as we deal with many hands-on hardware teams.


ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:

  • At least Bachelors degree in electrical or computer engineering, computer science, math, or any technical degree
