Job Description

Infosys is seeking a Business Analyst. This position will interface with key stakeholders and apply technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle including Requirements Elicitation, Application Architecture definition and Design; play an important role in creating the high-level design artifacts; deliver high quality code deliverables for a module, lead validation for all types of testing and support activities related to implementation, transition and warranty. Required Qualifications

• Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Vancouver, BC or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel.
• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• At least 4 years of Information Technology experience.

Preferred Qualification:

• At least 5 years of experience in Business Analysis and Product Management, defining product constructs and delivering a product vision and strategy.
• Proven track record in managing large, complex products with multiple partners in Credit Cards Domain.
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships at all levels within the organization, internally and externally.
• Proficient knowledge of Agile and Scrum development methodologies and IT project management
• Strong business acumen, problem solving and reasoning skills.
• Experience in transforming technology platforms
• At least 3-4 years of experience in Credit cards domain and associated business functions like Dispute Management, Statements, Clearing and Settlement, AR, etc.
• At least 3-4 years of experience in Business Analysis Skills – Requirements Elicitation; Analysis; Creating requirement specifications based on Architecture/Design /Detailing of Processes; Functional testing; Collaborating and Supporting cross functional teams.
• Should have prior product experience, work with multiple partners and cross functional teams, prioritize the backlog, develop user stories, and collaborate to deliver on different initiatives.
• Work with customers, key partners, and colleagues to define a product vision and strategy that is aligned with the high-level product roadmap.
• Translates product roadmap into well-defined product requirements/user stories and acceptance test criteria.
• Prioritizes and maintains the sprint backlog consistent with the Outcomes and Product Roadmap and performs story elaboration with the implementation team.
• Experience with business analysis tools and visual modelling
• Analytical and Communication skills
• Planning and Co-ordination skills
• Build value through deep product, functional and application expertise and client manager engagement capabilities.
  
  

The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email, or face to face. Extensive travel may be required as per client and project needs.

Estimated annual compensation range for the candidate based in the below location will be:

British Columbia: $ 81575 to $ 116670
