• 1.0 FTE Blended Learning Teacher: Grades 10-12 Math, Science & Electives
• Located in North Vancouver at North Shore Academy - must be able to provide face to face instruction at location.

Navigate teachers guide successful learning by providing personalized, online learning courses using diverse instructional technology. Navigate teachers commit to working online and face-to-face with students, colleagues, and parents. Teachers actively research, develop and maintain advanced online curriculum and support blended learning instructions in classrooms, learning centers, and tutorials.

The Successful Candidate Will Demonstrate

• Ability to create and manage on-line courses, assignments, assessments, and resources incorporating current pedagogical frameworks (i.e. inquiry, place-based, personalized).
• Ability to work with and provide support for students online and in person.
• Ability to support students with course adaptations and I.E.P.s.
• Ability to utilize the following online tools: Brightspace (D2L), Zoom, MyEd.
• Experience and skills with online learning technology support, course design/development in Brightspace(D2L), and e-portfolios.
• Experience and commitment to working collaboratively as part of a teacher team advancing methods in curriculum integration and personalized learning.
• Experience with Student Learning Plans and parent co-facilitation.
