The Opportunity:

Reporting to the Talent Acquisition Lead, the Talent Acquisition Specialist (TAS) will be responsible for the full cycle of the recruitment process. The TAS will be expected to manage multiple workflows simultaneously. The TAS will have exceptional interpersonal & excellent communication skills with the ability to devise sourcing strategies for potential applicant pools. This role requires a candidate with excellent customer service skills to build strong relationships with hiring managers and internal stakeholders.

A Day in the Life (What you will do here):

  • Manage end-to-end full recruitment life cycle for Sentrex roles including phone screening, video interviews, assessments, background and reference checks.
  • Develop and execute sourcing plans to identify and recruit top talent, owning the candidate development process from identification and engagement to offer extension and closing.
  • Manage the candidate hiring process to ensure a positive experience.
  • Partner with hiring managers and key stakeholders to understand unique talent needs and become a subject matter expert within each business area.
  • Provide counsel on best practices and policies to ensure effective execution of recruitment strategies and initiatives.
  • Participate in the development of an ongoing optimization of the recruitment process.
  • Provide weekly talent analytics including, but not limited to, tracking candidate pipelines, quality of hire, and time-to-fill.
  • Source applicants through online channels, such as LinkedIn, Indeed and other professional networks.
  • Create job descriptions, postings and interview guides that reflect the requirements for each position.
  • Organize and attend job fairs and recruitment events to build a strong candidate pipeline.
  • Keep records of all materials used for recruitment, including interview notes and related paperwork, to share with key stakeholders.
  • Other tasks and projects assigned by your manager.


What you need to ensure you are set up for success:

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a recruitment capacity.
  • Work experience in both corporate and agency recruitment will be considered an asset.
  • Familiarity with direct sourcing through job boards, social media, resume databases, and professional networks.
  • Experience with full cycle recruiting, using various interview techniques and evaluation methods.
  • French/English bilingual is a strong asset.
  • Knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems such as Taleo, BambooHR or UKG.
  • Proficiency in documenting processes and keeping up with industry trends.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Experience in the pharma and/or health care industry will be considered an asset.
  • Strong organizational skills with a sense of urgency.
