To achieve this, we have developed The Globe Pulsed Field System – we have a fantastic technical team that has developed a product with strong, unique, and customer-valued differentiators versus other solutions on the market. We have built connections with key opinion leaders who are already using the Globe System and are helping to tell our story.
We have now completed our pivotal clinical study and our focus is on regulatory approvals and commercial launch. This is an exciting and significant milestone in our journey to bring this ground-breaking technology to patients.
Reporting to the VP Talent, the Talent Development Specialist is responsible for designing, implementing, and evaluating training programs that enhance employee skills, knowledge, and engagement. This role focuses on creating impactful learning initiatives to support organizational goals and foster a culture of continuous development. The ideal candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify learning needs and deliver effective solutions.
Please note, this opportunity is a hybrid work arrangement, located in Burnaby, BC.

Kardium has listed the total cash compensation range (base salary + 5% RRSP contribution) that we expect to pay applicants for this role, as of the time of this posting. Pay offered will be determined based on numerous relevant business and candidate factors including, for example, education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, and business or organizational needs. For candidates with more or less experience than listed above, the pay range will be adjusted.
As a permanent employee, you will also participate in Kardium’s stock option plan.
The total cash we’ve listed for this position includes a base salary, plus a contribution to a Registered Retirement Savings plans (RRSP) to help support your financial goals.
Comprehensive medical & dental coverage for all permanent employees – effective as of Day 1, with no waiting period.
Work-day flexibility – additionally, we provide 3 personal days per year.

Your Responsibilities Will Include
Training Development and Delivery
- Design, develop, and deliver engaging learning programs, including classroom sessions, e-learning modules, and workshops.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to create role-specific training materials.
- Regularly update and maintain training content to reflect organizational changes or new initiatives.
- Conduct needs assessments to identify skill gaps and recommend training solutions.
- Gather employee feedback and analyze performance data to continuously improve training effectiveness.
- Coordinate training schedules, track attendance, and monitor completion rates.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs using surveys, assessments, and performance metrics.
- Manage relationships with external training vendors and platforms as needed.
- Act as a resource for employees seeking guidance on career development and growth opportunities.
- Promote learning initiatives through internal communications and events to foster a culture of continuous learning.

You will be successful in this role because you possess these attributes:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Education, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in a learning & development or training role.
- Familiarity with instructional design principles and adult learning methodologies.
- Proficiency in e-learning platforms (e.g., Articulate, Captivate, or similar) and learning management systems (LMS).
- Excellent presentation and facilitation skills, both in-person and virtual.
- Strong writing, editing, and content development skills.
- Ability to analyze data and measure training effectiveness.

- $75,000-90,000 (CAD Annually)
