The Successful Candidate Will
- Be responsible for the planning and program delivery of private, semi-private and group tennis lessons, including feedback and evaluation of participants.
- Assisting the recreation programmer and head pro with planning, directing, and overseeing the high-performance junior program.
- Provide quality customer service to participants, parents/guardians, and the general public. Respond to program feedback, enquiries, and requests promptly.
- Communicate and document any concerns to the Recreation Programmer (health and safety, attendance, participants, equipment, inventory, facility spaces).
- Respond to emergency situations including performing minor first aid and/or arranging for medical assistance.
- Provides a leadership role for other coaches and instructors, including support for lesson plans and coaching strategies.
- Assist in keeping lesson curriculum up to date.

- Minimum 4.0 NTRP playing level required.
- 5 years+ experience working in a club environment with all ages and skill levels.
- TPA Coach 2 certification or higher is preferred.
- Current Standard First Aid and CPR-C certification required.
- Current High Five (Principles of Healthy Child Development) certification preferred.
- Availability/flexibility to work evenings and weekends.
- Due to the nature of the contacts of this position a Police Vulnerable Sector Check satisfactory to the Town is required.
