POSITION : Territory Sales Manager
LOCATION : Mississauga (Outside Sales 50% / Work From Home Office 50%)
The successful candidate will play a lead role in planning, executing and closing all sales projects. This individual will be responsible for the project scope and success of each customer project, managing clear and distinct project plans utilizing appropriate project process tools. As a work from home / outside sales position, this individual will thrive working independently and will take pride in their ability to provide creative and innovation solutions to customer problems and requests.

Key Accountabilities
- Develops a business plan and sales strategy for new and existing client markets
- Responsible for prospecting, appointments, presentations, quotations & closes
- Gathers information on all customer contacts requiring technical support
- Prepares action plans for effective search of sales leads and prospects
- Implements action plans to penetrate new application categories and accounts
- Attend relevant trade shows as necessary to increase sales
- Compile lists of prospective customers for sales leads from advertising, direct mail, trade shows, web searches and other relevant sources
- Provides timely feedback to Director regarding activities
- Controls expenses to meet budget guidelines
- Maintains accurate records of all parts pricings, sales, and activity reports
- Creates and presents responses to customers’ requests for proposal
- 2 – 5 years of field sales account development and business planning experience
- Engineering, Commerce or Business Management education required
- Experience in an automotive business setting is an asset
- Mechanical aptitude and understanding automotive technical drawings an asset
- Project Management or Lean Six Sigma experience a strong asset
- High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office productivity suite
- Experience with CRM, Microsoft Project, JD Edwards, Lotus Notes
- Excellent and proven analytical, negotiating and problem-solving abilities
- Valid driver’s license, good driving record and availability for travel as required
