Job Summary
Reporting to the Director of Transportation, the Sales - Transport Brokerage position is a dynamic role that will build and maintain a high-performance sales team to effectively achieve business goals. They will possess substantial experience in a 3PL environment and will have an extensive network to leverage and a proven track record of success in selling within a third-party (3PL) brokerage setting.

Responsibilities And Tasks
- Generating sales leads through inside sales networking, cold-calling prospects, and building relationships as part of a coordinated sales strategy.
- Building long-term, profitable relationships with customers.
- Continuously researching the market for business and competitive trends.
- Proactively identifying opportunities to develop new business.
- Maintaining relationships with existing clients and expanding business internally.
- Ensuring the acquisition and nurturing of new customers and business opportunities.
- Creating sales strategies by gathering market information, analyzing opportunities, and documenting sales methodologies.
- Responding to client inquiries by preparing responses to requests for proposals (RFPs) and requests for quotations (RFQs).
- Preparing and delivering presentations to prospective clients.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Demonstrated experience in freight brokerage sales, with a strong desire for professional growth.
- At least four years of sales experience, specifically in the 3PL industry.
- Proven ability to acquire, close, and deliver new business.
- Outgoing, “hunter” personality.
- Hardworking, entrepreneurial, accountable, and proactive.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, with excellent follow-up skills.
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, both verbal and written.

- Excellent MS Office and other software proficiency
- Proven ability to multi-task effectively.
- Knowledge of a CRM data base (Hubspot)
