Our Abbotsford location is looking for a Wholesale Parts and Distribution Manager to oversee and manage wholesale parts distribution and warehouse operations supporting internal and external customers.

What You'll Do:

Playing an active role as part of the location's management team, the Wholesale Parts and Distribution Manager sets a tone consistent with company values, the highest standards of business ethics and a commitment to fair treatment and respect for company staff. You will promote a culture of success, innovation, and teamwork, while ensuring timely and accurate order processing, efficient inventory management, and seamless customer service both internally and externally.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process and invoice customer orders using the company system.
  • Source non-stock parts and identify special order parts from all OEMs (Original Equipment Manufacturers).
  • Manage returns (RGAs) to/from customers and manufacturers/OEMs.
  • Handle customer payments and maintain up-to-date payment records.
  • Place orders through various methods including POs using IDS, online ordering systems, emails, or phone calls.
  • Maintain and update the company website, ensuring accurate pricing and part listings.
  • Regularly update pricing in the IDS system to ensure consistency.
  • Support the location Parts and Service teams in fulfilling their parts orders.
  • Supervise and support wholesale and warehouse staff, ensuring efficiency and performance standards.
  • Approve freight bills from all freight companies, ensuring correct invoicing and proper allocation.
  • Reconcile Freight Credit Card Statements to ensure accuracy.
  • Conduct physical inventory counts and maintain inventory reconciliation.
  • Collaborate with National Procurement to manage the warehouse stocking program.
  • Order office supplies and ensure the availability of necessary materials.
  • Ensure that daily shipping reports are completed and accurate.
  • Create email flyers promoting clearance products, new products, and sales.
  • Assist in researching and resolving outstanding invoices with the Accounting team.
  • Follow up with customers to resolve outstanding accounts and manage credit limits in collaboration with the Finance team.
  • Maintain company equipment and vehicles as needed.
  • Monitor and improve warehouse operations, ensuring on-time delivery and order accuracy.
  • Establish productivity, quality, and customer service standards, resolving issues as needed.
  • Ensure that warehouse staff are properly trained on equipment use, including forklifts and other machinery.
  • Oversee the maintenance and repair of warehouse equipment and racking systems.
  • Manage logistics partners to optimize freight costs and customer service.
  • Coordinate shipping of parts and orders to Fraserway locations as needed.
  • Any other items, as directed by the National Manager - Parts & Procurement.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in wholesale parts distribution or similar role, ideally within the RV, automotive, or relevant industries.
  • Strong understanding of inventory management, supply chain logistics, wholesale sales processes and invoicing systems.
  • Proven experience in wholesale parts distribution, logistics, and warehouse management.
  • Strong customer service skills, with experience handling both internal and external customers.
  • Experience supervising staff and managing teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with safety regulations and compliance standards.
  • Proficient with office software and systems (e.g., IDS, MS Office).

Total Compensation: $82,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
