Job Summary
RTDS Technologies Inc. are seeking to fill an Assembly Technician position who will participate in the assembly of the RTDS digital real-time power system simulator. This role requires hands-on experience with electrical component assembly, the ability to work collaboratively and efficiently within a team, and a commitment to meeting our high-quality standards.

Compensation
Currency: CAD
Salary Minimum: 55,000
Salary Maximum: 75,000
Incentive: Market

Job Summary
RTDS Technologies Inc. are seeking to fill an Assembly Technician position who will participate in the assembly of the RTDS digital real-time power system simulator. This role requires hands-on experience with electrical component assembly, the ability to work collaboratively and efficiently within a team, and a commitment to meeting our high-quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Under the direction of the Production Manager, assemble RTDS cubicles, enclosures and other housings.
- Advise Production Manager of assembly problems, including but not limited to
- Poor quality or improper components
- Assemblies that are difficult to complete
- Unsafe wiring arrangements
- Participate in cubicle, enclosure or housing related support issues.
- Be familiar with the setup and installation of RTDS main and I/O boards.
- Participate in the production aspects of new product cubicles, enclosures and housings.
- Other duties as assigned
- C.E.T Certification, or equivalent certification/experience (Mechanical, Electronic, Computer Engineering Technology)
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in related field
- Hands on work experience with electrical component assembly & board testing
- Willingness and ability to work collaboratively in a team
- Experience with soldering, testing, maintenance, & repair of electrical/electronic hardware, peripherals and software
- Experience with circuit boards
