Canadian Hot Tubs Inc. designs and manufactures premium cedar hot tubs, cold plunges, and saunas that are enjoyed by customers across Canada and the United States. As demand continues to grow, we're expanding our team and looking for someone who wants to grow alongside us.

Reporting directly to the President, you'll become an integral member of our Finance team—helping ensure our financial operations run efficiently while contributing ideas that improve how we do business.

What You'll Be Responsible For

Bookkeeping & Financial Administration

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Managing Accounts Payable (A/P) and Accounts Receivable (A/R)
  • Maintaining accurate financial records and general ledgers
  • Recording journal entries
  • Performing bank and account reconciliations
  • Assisting with month-end close and financial reporting
  • Preparing reports to support management decision-making
  • Maintaining organized financial documentation
  • Ensuring accuracy, completeness, and confidentiality of all financial information

Process Improvement

We're looking for someone who doesn't simply maintain systems—they help improve them.

You'll also have opportunities to:

  • Identify efficiencies within our financial processes
  • Recommend improvements to workflows and reporting
  • Assist with special projects as the business grows
  • Support additional finance and administrative initiatives

Qualifications

We're looking for someone with:

  • Experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or financial administration
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, reconciliations, and financial record keeping
  • Experience with QuickBooks Online (preferred)
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Postsecondary education in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related discipline is considered an asset
  • The ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced, growing business
