Responsibilities

Join us as a Building Systems Student for our Atlantic Canada district, within our Canadian Buildings sector for 4 months starting January 2027. Depending on your assigned project as a Building Systems Student, you will have the opportunity to contribute to our team by:

  • Updating and submitting mechanical and electrical shop drawings.
  • Reviewing and verifying site installations.
  • Assisting with quality control.
  • Updating and inputting the commissioning schedule.
  • Witnessing and coordinating commissioning activities.
  • Assisting with Request for Information (RFI) tracking and processing.
  • Performing on-site coordination with trades and reviewing progress on site.
  • Tracking deficiencies.
  • Assisting other project managers on the project related to other disciplines/trades.
  • Other duties as required.

Qualifications

  • Working towards a degree or diploma in a mechanical or electrical engineering related field.
  • A passion for working in a construction environment.
  • Ability to review shop and construction drawings.
  • Self-motivation with a hands-on approach.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbally, with a variety of different partners.
  • Prior field construction experience is considered an asset.
