Compensation: $55,000-$65,000 annually

We are seeking an Estimator to join our Sales team in our London Office. Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, you will be supporting the Sales team by preparing accurate takeoffs, pricing and quotes while coordinating with manufacturers and vendors.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Reviewing tender forms, specifications, and mechanical construction drawings
  • Providing accurate takeoffs
  • Confirming O’Dell product conformance with project documentation to ensure validity of bids
  • Producing equipment bill of materials
  • Preparing timely pricing for all ventilation products for review by Sales team members
  • Liaising with manufacturers to ensure accurate and competitive pricing
  • Generating quotations through internal ERP software (NetSuite)
  • Preparing submittal packages for ventilation equipment on awarded projects
  • Communicating with team members regarding new and current projects
  • Collaborating with Sales and other internal teams, as well as external vendors to create positive working relationships
  • Other responsibilities as assigned

What You Bring

  • A post-secondary diploma from a Mechanical Technology or Engineering program (or related equivalent)
  • A minimum of three-five (3-5) years experience in construction or HVAC estimating
  • Strong computer skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with an ERP is considered an asset
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal
  • The ability to work well both independently and within a team environment
  • Comfortability in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to prioritize multiple and strict deadlines
  • A valid passport and drivers license for travel within Canada/USA for training at manufacturers’ facilities
