Pre-Sales Manager

Lead the team that turns customer needs into accurate, commercially strong technical solutions. As Pre-Sales Manager, you will connect Sales, Product Management, and Quotation resources to deliver clear proposals, control risk and move complex opportunities forward.

• Lead, coach and develop the pre-sales team of Product Specialists, Technical Sales Associates and Quote Writer.
• Own the quality, accuracy and consistency of quotations and technical proposals.
• Lead and coordinate responses to customer RFPs and URS documents.
•  Ensure customer requirements are turned into practical, compelling solution concepts.
• Challenge technical or commercial risk.
• Prioritize opportunities and keep Sales informed on status, risks and next steps.
• Improve tools, templates, processes and handovers across the business.

• Leadership experience in pre-sales, applications engineering, technical sales or solution engineering.
• Experience with capital equipment, automation, packaging, food processing or a related B2B industry.
• Strong commercial judgement, technical curiosity and attention to detail.
• Clear communication, confident decision-making and strong cross-functional leadership.
• A practical coaching style and a drive for continuous improvement.
• Degree-level education in a relevant field, or proven equivalent experience.
