What Role You Will Play In Our Team
As an Engineering Intern, you will support our Process Control team within the Refinery and Chemicals operations. You will work closely with integrated teams to support day-to-day operations and long-term initiatives, ensuring safe, reliable, and environmentally compliant operations. You will also be paired with a Mentor to support the Major Projects Teams to review designs and implement process control systems.

What You'll Do
Process Control Engineering:

• Support identifying, implementing, and maintaining basic process control applications
• Assist with day-to-day monitoring and support for existing applications on process units
• Develop new applications and maintain the performance of existing ones
• Support software/database requirements
• Support Major Projects Teams to review designs and implement process control systems
  
  

About You
Skills and Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical or Process Control Engineering from a Canadian Accredited University
• University Engineering student available for a work term beginning in May 2027
• Currently enrolled in a University Engineering program and returning to full-time studies after the work term
• Demonstrated leadership and strong academic skills
• A valid driver's license and safe driving record are required

Preferred Qualifications/Experience

• Commitment to safety.
• Highly motivated, enthusiastic, and results-oriented individuals who enjoy working with people and achieving superior results.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and in a team-based environment.
• Previous industry experience is beneficial but not essential.
  
  

Work Location: Sarnia, ON

Work Term: 12 or 16 months

Start Date: May 2027

Your Benefits
The expected annual salary range for this position is $63,600.00 - $82,320.00. Individual pay will be determined based on various factors, which may include skills, abilities, qualifications, work experience, and education.
