As a part of our continued growth, AECOM is actively seeking a creative and highly talented Process Engineer to join our water/wastewater treatment plants team in Winnipeg, Manitoba. The Process Engineer - Water/Wastewater Treatment will work on municipal and industrial water/wastewater treatment, pumping stations/systems, and related infrastructure projects in all phases from planning and feasibility to detailed design, construction, and commissioning.
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
- Complete technical calculations and analysis to support design decisions.
- Prepare technical reports and plans.
- Review of quantity and cost estimates for completeness and accuracy.
- Support in the delivery of infrastructure to clients mostly within the water and wastewater sectors.
- Provide contract administration including reviewing contractor submittals and payment applications.
- Provide technical support on construction projects including performing site visits to confirm conformance to design drawings and specifications.
- Coordinate the work of a multi-discipline team of engineers.
- Pursue and deliver new water/wastewater projects with private and municipal clients.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Environmental, Civil, Biosystems, Chemical or Process) or related field.
- 4+ years of experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education in the municipal water/wastewater industry.
- Registered as a Professional Engineer in the province of Manitoba (or eligible to become registered within 6 months).
- 6+ years of progressive experience in the municipal water/wastewater industry.
- Familiarity with industry standards and strong working knowledge of water and wastewater treatment design and engineering.
- Willing to travel to and visit active construction sites, providing field review services.
- Experience working in the consulting industry and with project management concepts, principles, and duties.
- Proven ability to write winning proposals and obtain new work.

Offered rate of compensation will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. The range for this position is $85000 to $120000.
