We are looking for a detail-oriented Production Planner to join our Winnipeg team. If you thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and enjoy coordinating production activities to ensure efficiency and customer satisfaction, we'd love to hear from you.
Reporting to the Art Department Supervisor, the Production Planner is responsible for creating production plans and job instructions that ensure customer orders are completed accurately, efficiently, and on schedule. This role works closely with Estimating, Production, and Purchasing to coordinate materials, optimize workflows, and identify opportunities to improve productivity and reduce costs.

Responsibilities
When your actions lead to success:
- Create detailed job tickets and production recipe sheets for manufacturing teams.
- Review production requirements to ensure materials, labor, and equipment are available.
- Develop efficient production plans that maximize equipment utilization and workflow.
- Group similar jobs together to improve production efficiency and reduce manufacturing costs.
- Understand production processes and equipment capabilities to determine the most effective production methods.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings while maintaining quality standards.
- Collaborate with Estimating, Production, Purchasing, and other departments to support on-time delivery.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
When your expertise drives us:
- High school diploma (Grade 12) or equivalent.
- 1+years of experience, ideally in the printing industry.
- Strong understanding of printing products, production processes, and manufacturing workflows.
- Knowledge of Adobe Illustrator is considered an asset.
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Ability to prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced production environment.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Proficiency with standard computer applications and office software.
