Job Overview
We are currently hiring a Skilled Labourer with Boom Lift Certification for construction work in Sault Ste. Marie. The successful candidate will work across different construction sites and will be responsible for performing general skilled labour duties, including operating a boom lift to support work at the sites.
This is an immediate-start opportunity for someone who is experienced, safety-conscious, and comfortable working at heights and operating a boom lift in an active construction environment.
Responsibilities
Operate a boom lift safely and efficiently on construction sites
Perform general skilled labour and construction support duties
Assist Tradespeople And Other Crew Members As Required
Work at heights while following all required safety procedures
Load, unload, move, and organize materials and equipment
Maintain a clean and safe work area
Follow site instructions, safety procedures, and PPE requirements
Travel between three construction sites in the Sault Ste. Marie area as required
Perform other construction-related duties as assigned
Requirements
Mandatory: Valid Boom Lift Certification
Mandatory: Previous boom lift operating experience
Previous construction or skilled labour experience
Comfortable working at heights
Ability to safely operate equipment in an active construction environment
Physically capable of performing manual labour and lifting as required
Strong safety awareness and reliability
Ability to work independently and as part of a crew
Must be available for an immediate start
Must be available Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
