Overview
The Account Executive (AE) role will take a leading role in managing a book of business including being the primary point of contact for clients, negotiating and presenting renewals, and engaging clients in Gallagher’s annual benchmarking survey. Acting as the primary point of contact for clients, you will triage requests and send them to the appropriate team members for answers, tools, and direction. In addition the AE will work on ad hoc client projects/requests and RFPs related to group benefits.

How You'll Make An Impact
- Build, expand, and nurture relationships with new and existing clients
- Focus on client retention, relationship management, and uncovering additional opportunities to cross-solve and identify additional service needs and coverage levels
- Utilize your benefits expertise to present renewals, negotiate with carriers, and interpret benchmark data and analyze trends
- Complete and present due diligence requests, marketings and participate in union negotiations
- Work with clients to create an annual strategy and partner with internal team to ensure all goals are being executed
- Bachelor's degree - Preferably in risk management/insurance, finance, actuarial studies, commerce or business
- 5+ years of experience in group benefits insurance field (corporate, broker/consulting)
- Experience working with Canadian Employee Benefits, Vendors, Multinational Clients and Insurance Carriers
- Life License (LLQP) required; CEBS designation a plus but not required
- 15 - 20% travel required
